Using IDPs which will not allow for multiple entities in an application for SAML Single Sign On (SSO) Configurations

ISSUE

Some IDPs such as Okta do not allow multiple entities or audiences in the same application. As such the only way to configure the IDP to support MarkView 7 metadafiles is to create 7 separate applications. This requires 7 metadata files to be created on the IDP side

However, the AUTH_SSO_SAML_IDP_METADATA_PATH preference specifies a single file.

How can this preference value reference all 7 files?

CAUSE

Using multiple entities per application is a valid SAML 2.0 configuration. Some IDP's do however have a limitation on this. 

In and greater a workaround for this has been created. 

SOLUTION

Apply or greater.
Follow the readme steps in the article to generate and name your 7 IDP files as instructed in the readme and set the preference as instructed in the readme file.
