Vendor Search window opens automatically in Verify for Unidentified invoices

ISSUE

Vendor Search opens automatically when an Unidentified invoice is opened in Verify and may reopen after clicking Exit.

The issue may occur only with a specific invoice profile/configuration.

CAUSE

The VendorSearch option Show Search Dialog Automatically? is enabled for the configuration associated with the affected invoice profile.

SOLUTION

1. Open Manager > Open Plugins tab >select Vendor Search.
2. Select the VendorSearch configuration associated with the affected invoice profile.
3. Navigate to: Configuration Settings > Configuration >Search Dialog
4. Check whether Show Search Dialog Automatically? is enabled.
5. If automatic Vendor Search is not required, uncheck/disable: Show Search Dialog Automatically?
6. Save the configuration.
